Where we started

Primestack Bullion was built on one standard: know the market properly, and only deal in stock we'd be happy to own ourselves. What we carry isn't picked at random — we look for pieces people will genuinely enjoy owning, not just whatever's cheapest to shift.

We're a small operation by design. That means every piece that goes out the door has actually been looked at, checked, and priced by us directly — not a warehouse team, not a call centre.

How we source

Stock comes from a mix of recognised mints and refiners, established bullion dealers, and — occasionally — vetted private sales. Every item we list discloses:

• The mint or refiner (e.g. Royal Mint, Baird & Co, Scottsdale Mint)
• Weight and fineness (purity)
• Condition, and photos on request

How we price

Bullion pricing tracks the live spot price of gold or silver, plus a premium that covers minting, dealer margin, and (for coins) collectability. Our premiums are kept deliberately tight — we're not trying to compete with big-volume dealers on price, we're trying to be fair and transparent about it. You won't find fixed prices listed on this site — check our eBay listings for live prices, or ask us directly and we'll quote the current rate, since spot prices move throughout the day.
